Congratulations to the Tornado graduating Class of 2022! Commencement Exercises took place on Saturday, May 22, 2022 at the Turner School gymnasium. Mrs. Heather Jorgenson played the processional followed by Shay Humphreys welcoming the crowd. He also introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Elissa Zellmer. Mrs. Zellmer taught the graduating class for their 5th and 6th grade years. The Seniors then had some nice music playing while they presented their special guests with a long stem rose. Mr. Tony Warren introduced the Class Valedictorian, Laci Lee Maloney, and Class Salutatorian, Lacey Autumn Hickel. Both girls did an awesome job of giving their farewell address to the crowd. Following a touching and beautiful slide show that was put together of the Class of 2022 of their growing up years at Turner School, Mr. James Hodgson presented some individuals of the class some great scholarships.
Afterwards, Mr. Warren introduced the graduating 8th grade class followed by the graduating Class of 2022. Mr. Chris Maloney of the Turner Board of Trustees, presented the diplomas. Trever Kimmel gave a short farewell address. The program came to an end with the recessional of the Classes of 2022 and 2026. A nice farewell celebration was held at the old gym in the graduates honor.
