We've Got The County Covered
Chinook seniors Anna Terry and Levi Jensen both successfully completed their very first full marathon this past Saturday at the Bear Paw Marathon.
The 2022 Bear Paw Marathon took place this past Saturday and a number of Blaine County Runners took to the course. Five competed in the full marathon, just two runners completed the half marathon and 13 women and six men ran the 5K. Ages ranged from 5-62 and represented Chinook, Harlem, Hays and Zurich.
Chinook's Leslie Zellmer finished 2nd overall in the Womens Marathon while Anna Terry, also of Chinook was 7th. Harlem's Carey Patrick Wertz led the way for the Blaine County Men with a top 10 finish as well, placing 8th overall. Chinook's Alexa Nicholson finished 8th in the Half Marathon while Timothy Hofeldt of Chinook and Miles Werk of Harlem finished 7th and 8th in the Mens 5K race.
