TURNER SCHOOL CELEBRATES AWARDS NIGHT

The Turner Junior and High School celebrated their annual awards night recently at the Turner gymnasium. Student Council, Lacey Hickel, gave a welcome and was followed by Mr. Tony Warren. He announced the Academic All State awards. Those receiving the awards were: Trever Kimmel, Shay Humphreys, Dakota, Hannah Richman, Trent Billmayer, Carson Maloney, JR Brown, Tate Beck, Caleb zellmer, Cassidy Grabofsky, Modesty Chamberlain. Scholar Athletes were recognized as well. They were Laci Maloney and Charlie Calvert.

Coach Johannas Brown presented the boys basketball awards. Those receiving were: Managers: Brady Zellmer and Jake Brown. Players: Joe Trautmann (T and basketball pin), Tate Beck, JR Brown, Carson Maloney, Caleb Zellmer, Trent Billmayer, Ryan Doyle, Charlie Calvert,m Shay Humphreys, and Trever Kimmel.

At the time of the awards night, it was unknown who would be the recipients of both boy and girl High point and Most Improved awards.

State Certificates/Montana Council of Teachers of Mathematics Math Contest Awards were presented to Jake Brown and Abby Grabofsky. Both received the award for the Potluck test. Both were Honorable Mention ratings. This award is given to the top 2.26-5.25% of all the students in the State that took that test at their grade level.
