Thanks to everyone who participated and donated to the summer reading program. All children’s programs including story time, elementary school programs and Lego Club will take a break until this fall. If you have completed July’s Book Challenge please contact the library to be entered into the drawing. The Book Challenge for August is to read a family saga. We have a great display to choose from!

We have extended our summer season! We will be open seven days a week from 9-5 through the first weekend in October.

Class Reunion
Plans are being made for a 50th year class reunion for the Harlem High School class of 1972 to be held at Zurich Park September 3rd and 4th. Friends of the Pool & Park
Hello citizens of Chinook! The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation’s monthly meetings are always open to the public so we wanted to give you a more set schedule. Meetings will be held the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 6 PM. The following are the meeting dates/locations for the remainder of the year:

Bear Paw Cooperative
The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify.
