Corey Barron is Thrilled to be the New Harlem Jr./Sr. High School Principal

As the 2022-23 school year gets underway, Harlem High School District No. 12 welcomes Corey S. Barron to the community as the new Harlem Jr./Sr. High School Principal. Mr. Barron previously served as Principal at Lodge Grass High School. In introducing himself to the community Mr. Barron stated, “It is my great pleasure and honor to serve you as the new principal of Harlem High School. I look forward to meeting with all of you and working alongside the school community. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with dedicated, hardworking students, staff, and families with so many points of pride.”

Mr. Barron is confident his previous experience will serve him well in his new roll, “Over the years I have served schools in a variety of capacities at the High school, Middle school, and Elementary school level as, a classroom teacher, MTSS school leader, Athletic Director, Elementary Principal, and Jr./Sr. Principal. I am eager and excited to dedicate my skills to serving the Harlem High School family.”

With the new year underway Mr. Barron is prepared to do whatever it takes, “As we embark on a new and exciting school year my mission is to make this school year the best one ever. I plan on working with parents, teachers, students, and the entire Harlem community to ensure our students are safe and are learning at high levels. Together we will continue to provide experiences for students to be empowered to embrace learning and promote their social, emotional, and physical well-being. As your new principal, it is important to me to greet everyone in the school with the utmost respect and kindness. I have an open-door policy and value every stakeholder’s opinion.
