Harlem Library
The Book Challenge for Sept. is to read a book that includes a map. Stop by the library and “Buy a Bag O’Books!” You may purchase a grocery sack of used books for only one dollar. September is “Library Card Sign-up Month.” The library board will meet Sept. 21, 4:15 P.M.
Friends of the Pool & Park
Hello citizens of Chinook! The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation’s monthly meetings are always open to the public so we wanted to give you a more set schedule. Meetings will be held the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 6 PM. The following are the meeting dates/locations for the remainder of the year:

Bear Paw Cooperative
Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 29 through October 30, 2022. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission.

Town Pump Organization
Offered the Harlem Food Bank matching funds up to $2500.00 for money they can raise. The time period is from Sept. 1, 2022 through Oct. 31, 2022. Any money contributed to the Harlem Food Bank in that time period will be appreciated. We continue to help those who need some help. Blaine County Museum
We have extended our summer season! We will be open seven days a week from 9-5 through the first weekend in October.
Dr. Michele Corriel, an art history instructor from Montana State University, will be giving a virtual lecture about the Montana artist Jessie Wilber at the museum on Saturday, September 24th at 2PM. Wilber is the artist who created the 20 silkscreen prints in the exhibit “Blackfeet Indian Tipis: Design and Legend” on display at the museum through October 31st. Free. Cookies and coffee will be provided.
The Cemetery Board
The Cemetery Board will meet again Wednesday, September 28 at 1:30 PM in the EOC Room.
Chinook Senior Center
The Chinook Senior Center Board will be hosting a birthday party for all Senior People whose birthdays are in September. The party will be the last Friday of September. September 30, 2022 at 12 noon.
