We've Got The County Covered
The library is going to do Hassle Free Christmas this year, however it will look a little different from years past. We are planning to have an open house in the library and vendors in the meeting room on Saturday December 3rd from 2:00-5:00. The Bell Choir will be playing this year and we will have soups, breads and desserts to eat.
New books this week include several from patron’s favorite authors. In “Desert Star” by Michael Connelly, LAPD detective Renée Ballard and Harry Bosch team up to hunt the brutal killer who is Bosch’s “white whale”—a man responsible for the murder of an entire family. Stone Barrington finds himself in hot water in “Distant Thunder” by Stuart Woods. “The Prisoner” by B.A. Paris is a thriller about one woman wed into a family with deadly intentions. In “Triple Cross” by James Patterson, Detective Alex Cross hunts down a serial killer who targets entire families—and who will next be coming for the Crosses. “The Passenger” by Cormac McCarthy is the story of a salvage diver, haunted by loss, afraid of the watery deep, pursued for a conspiracy beyond his understanding, and longing for a death he cannot reconcile with God.
We have three new movies ready for check out: Top Gun Maverick, Jerry and Marge Go Large, and Lightyear.
