We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Blood Drive - January 10, 2023

Chinook will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023 from noon till 6pm at the Chinook Community Commercial Building down at the fairgrounds.

This blood drive is a way of giving our community the opportunity to help save lives.

Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross.

“We urge our community members to donate blood and help ensure that patients in local hospitals have a supply of blood ready and waiting before an emergency occurs. There is no better feeling than knowing that your blood donation may give someone a second chance at life.”

According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.

To make an appointment go to http://www.redcrossblood.org

If you are unable to make an appointment but would like to donate, walk in’s are always welcome.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
