We've Got The County Covered

Blaine County Library

The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday January 30th at 4:30 p.m.

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only reason why love is in the February air— it’s also National Library Lover’s Month! The entire month of February is dedicated to celebrating libraries, librarians, book lovers and lovers of libraries. We encourage you to stop in this month and tell us why you Love Your Library!

We recently received the latest DVD of Backroads of Montana. In Episode 50 The Great Outdoors you will be taken on an underwater tour of Montana’s most visited State Park, Giant Springs. You will explore a working Montana ranch equipped with cameras to allow the world to participate in daily ranch happenings. You will also observe the quiet and beautiful process of ice forming on a Western Montana river and be introduced to a group of retirees who are making the campground near Seely Lake a great place to pitch a tent. Backroads is a program featuring interesting people, places and events from around the state. It is funded by grants from the Greater Montana Foundation, Travel Montana and the University of Montana.

We have a series of 3 books from an author new to our library. “Caged” by Ellison Cooper is book one in the Agent Sayer Altair series. Agent Altair is an FBI neuroscientist hunting for evil in the deepest recesses of the human mind. “Buried” and “Cut to the Bone” are the other two books in the series. “All the Broken Pieces” by John Boyne is a devastating, and beautiful story about a woman who must confront the sins of her own terrible past, and a present in which it is never too late for bravery. “Crossfire” and “Critical Threat” are books 2 and 3 in the Extreme Measures series by Lynette Eason. These are romantic suspense novels.
