Luriene Winney

Luriene was born February 7, 1935 in Chinook Montana to Margaret (McGillivray) Gilbert and Charles Gilbert. In 1939 Margaret married Sterling Oberg and they lived in Chinook, Montana for many years.

The McGillivray's, Gilbert's and Oberg's were all from Montana. Luriene was a Montana girl. Margaret and Sterling brought their family to Ballard, Washington in 1952. Luriene attended Ballard High School. In 1954 she completed Practical Dental Nursing in Seattle and worked as a Dental Assistant. She was very proud of this achievement.
