We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

The Chinook Senior Center would like to thank everyone for pitching in and helping out through this trying time while our Director Karyn Higgins is recovering from a car accident. We wish her the best of health and are all working to keep the doors open here. We have two new cooks, so stop by and say hi to Candace and Judy!

Our condolences to the families of Joann Mitchell.

Thank you to Dave Buck, Erica Smith and Jean Kiel for their donations to the center.

Are you a caretaker for your spouse? Or a neighbor? Or a friend? Do you drive someone to doctor appointments out of town? We have Respite funds available. To find out if you qualify, contact the center at 406-357-2648 or come in and pick up a form.

Bingo is played every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and everyone is welcome to join us. Each card played is a dime, only one card for each player wins per round. Last Thursday of the month is Jackpot Bingo.

We have music by a local band on Friday starting at 10 a.m. Come on in and listen for a while.

Caramel Rolls, Plain Cinnamon Rolls and Maple Sticks are $1.50 each and $15.00 a dozen. Please call by 10 a.m. on Wednesday for all Cinnamon Roll orders. Cinnamon Rolls can be picked up on Thursday morning starting at 7 a.m. 406-357-2648

Our next Foot Clinic will be June 5 and our next Board Meeting will be June 12.

We invite anyone who would like a good meal to stop by; we eat at noon and the cost is more than reasonable at $5 a plate if you are 60 years old or older, and $6 a plate if you are younger than 60 years old. We need to know before 10 a.m. how many meals we need to make, so we would appreciate it if you would call us at your earliest convenience or by 10 a.m. for all dine-in, pick up or delivery. 406-357-2648
