Connita (Connie) Edgington Uuckovic

Connita (Connie) Edgington Uuckovic passed away August 1, 2023 following a battle with lung cancer. Connie was born to Richard & Carol Edgington, April 29, 1953 in Havre, MT. She was raised in Chinook, MT until she married Tom Mellon. Then moved to Pennsylvania in the 70's. They had 4 children, Tawnya, Nicole, Tara, and TJ. They later divorced.

She then met husband Stan Uuckovic (love of her life). They married in May of 2014.

Connie had many positions in life, but one she loved the most was taking care of the elderly until retiring. She loved to garden. Stan and Connie always had a showcase yard. Growing her beautiful flowers was a passion. Watching her grandchildren grow, attending events made her very proud.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Carol Edgington, son TJ Mellon, and brother Jerry Joe Edgington.

She is survived by her husband Stan of Pennsylvania, Daughters Tawnya (Larry) Fox of PA, Tara (Gordon Taylor) of Jordon, PA and Nicole Alexander of Rhode Island. Brother Danny Edgington of Chinook, MT and Sister Peggy (Bob) Dion of Great Falls, MT. 14 grandchildren, One Great Grandchild, and fur babies Abby Sue and Lucy.

A special thanks to UPMC, St Margaret's Hospital, Family Peace Hospice, Stan, Tawnya, and Tara for taking very good care of our sister in her final days. She was loved by many friends and will be greatly missed.

Connie is now singing with the Angels. Rest in Peace. Services were held August 5, 2023 in Springdale, PA. Burial will take place in Chinook, MT at a later date.
