The library board will hold their regular meeting today, September 27 at 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.
The library, along with Blaine County MSU Extension, are hosting the program “Introduction to Beekeeping” on October 3 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. in the library meeting room. Featured presenters will be MSU Extension Agents Shelley Mills and Wendy Becker. Please call the Harlem Library at 406-353-2712 to RSVP by September 28.
If you have completed the September Book Challenge please notify the library to have your named entered to win a gift certificate from a local business. The Book Challenge for October is to read a cozy mystery.
This is the last week of the Buy a Bag O’Books sale for September. You may fill a grocery sack full of used books for only one dollar!
September is Library Card Sign Up month. If you do not already have a library card, take this opportunity to register for one. You must have a current photo ID, working phone number and mailing address to sign up.
The library is conducting a community survey to learn how we are doing! You may complete the survey on our Facebook page, website or complete a hard copy at the library. Your input matters to us.
New selections ready for check out include the suspense novels “The Trade Off” by Sandie Jones, “The St. Ambrose School for Girls” by Jessica Ward, “The Survivor “ by Iris Johansen and “To Catch a Storm” by Mindy Mejia.
Two new historical romance novels are “Remember Me” by Mary Balogh and “The Bride Wore White” by Amanda Quick.
Brad Thor has written the spy thriller “Dead Fall.
Weekly children’s programs include Storytime for ages 0-5 on Tuesdays at 10 A.M., After School Squad on Wednesdays at 4 P.M., Lego Club on Thursdays at 4 P.M. and Film Fridays on Fridays at 10 A.M.
The Book Club meets on Mondays at 4 P.M.
