We've Got The County Covered
The family of Tristan Billmayer is pleased to announce the winner of the 2023 Mental Health Field Scholarship in the amount of $500.
Aspyn Colby, a 2023 graduate of Chinook High School is the daughter of John and Dawn Colby. Aspyn is a Freshman at UND this Fall and plans on majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology. She was awarded this scholarship with the intent to spread awareness of mental health within the criminal justice system. As the youngest of a generational law enforcement family she saw the need for all levels of law enforcement to be aware and proactive about mental illnesses. Aspyn would like to thank the community for helping her to get to this point and has faith that she will help as many people as possible.
The Tristan Billmayer Memorial Mental Health Field Scholarship in the amount of $500 is offered to any graduate from Montana who has plans to or is in the process of pursuing a degree in a field that pertains to mental health, such as counseling, psychology, social work, etc. For more information or to apply for the 2024 scholarship, please email Shawna Billmayer at slbillmayer74@gmail.com.
