2nd Annual Jean's Bakery Cheeseburger Soup Fundraiser Returns to Chinook November 24th

Friend of the Pool & Park

The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation would like to invite people from across the Hi-Line to their upcoming fundraiser to help fund necessary improvements to the Pool and Park Complex in Chinook. The 2nd Annual Jean's Bakery Cheeseburger Soup Fundraiser will be held at Wallner Hall in Chinook on Friday, November 24th, 2023. This annual event was started in 2022 as a donation from Jean Kokkeler and the Nemetz Family as a way to help fundraise for the Pool and Park Rehabilitation Project. Jean and her family have so graciously donated all of the product and time for this event and it will start at 4 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. or whenever the soup is gone! Last year was a sell-out event and Jean will be serving her famous Cheeseburger Soup alongside her amazing Bread Bowls, Hot Chocolate, Hot Tea and Coffee. She will also have a limited amount of Cream Puffs and Caramel Rolls available to purchase, and she will be taking orders for baked goods to be picked up prior to Christmas. Save time with your holiday baking by purchasing your baked goods at this event, all the while supporting the Chinook Pool and Park. Everyone is welcome to attend, you won't want to miss out on this amazing event. Jean's Bakery was a very popular and well-known Bakery that was in Chinook for many years. Jean has since retired from the business, but she has come out of retirement to do this event each year.

This soup fundraiser is free-will and all donations will go directly towards the Pool and Park Project. Cream Puffs will be $5 each or $30 for 6, which is the minimum quantity for Pre-Orders. Caramel Rolls are $5 each or $30 a Dozen, which is the minimum quantity for Pre-Orders as well. Pre-Orders will be available for Pickup December 1st through the 22nd only and Mondays she will be unavailable for pickups. You can pre-order during the fundraiser at the Parade of Lights or you can text Jean at 390-4838.

We would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to Jean Kokkeler and the Nemetz Family for their very generous donations to the event.
