We've Got The County Covered
Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!
Gosh, these weeks are flying by! This morning appears to be December 25th, rather than Oct. 25th, if we look outside. However, as we always say……moisture is good!
We have had a most wonderful week, while learning Lambsey (a progressive rummy card game) and a painting class with Jack Brandon. We all had so very much fun! Those of us who attended the painting class, learned quite a bit! We are feeling more like artists. The group who gathered for Lambsey You truly should GET IN HERE!
I was gone for a few days, as most of you know, visiting my sister in Seattle, whom I have been very concerned about. I am pleased to say that she is doing better, perhaps because you all lifted her up in prayer. Thank you for your fellowship, your concern & your prayers.
We are adventuring on with our Limber Up classes. There are several of us in attendance, and YOU, should join this, as well. We either move it, or we lose it, so keep on moving! Mon & Wed, @ 10:00.
Our Foot Clinic is coming up on Monday, November 6th. We have a few openings left, so make certain to call us @ 357-2648 & get signed up!
We are having a Halloween Costume Party on Tuesday, October 31st, so if you get this newspaper in time, come & join the fun! We have also invited the Meadowlark kiddos to come over between 4:00 & 5:00, to Trick or Treat, so we will be gathering a group of people to put together our goodie bags.
We have Cornhole (fun) on Mondays from 1:00-3:00, We have Cribbage on Tuesdays(fun) @ 1:00. We have Paint with Jack Brandon classes (fun) on Wednesdays @ 1:00. Who knew that we were all such great artists! We have Caramel Rolls each Thursday, ready by 7:00, if you place an order on Wednesdays by 1:00, please. We have Bingo (fun) on Thursdays from 1:00-3:00. We have the band on Fridays from 10:00-2:00. We have FELLOWSHIP, FRIENDSHIP, HOT COFFEE, ICE TEA, & FUN! GET IN HERE!
