If you are a new board member who is wondering what the job of a board member is or if you have served on a board for a while, but need a refresher, we have three books available. “What Every Board Member Needs to Know, Do, and Avoid” by Andy Robinson is a 1-hour Guide. “The Little Book of Boards” by Erik Hanberg is a Board Member’s Handbook for small and very small nonprofits. “Be a Better Board Member” by Bob Hazen will guide you how to be the board member you and your nonprofit deserve.
