The Harlem Library Board will hold their monthly meeting today, November 29, at 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.

The Friends of the Library Holiday Wine and Cheese “Silver Bells” fundraiser will be December 6 from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. at the library. Tickets for adults age 21 and over are on sale now at the library for $10 each. There will be only eighty tickets sold. Tickets will cost $15 at the door. This fun evening includes live and silent auctions, delicious refreshments, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and musical entertainment. The library will be closed December 6 in preparation for the event.

There will be no After School Squad today, November 29, or December 6.

The Book Challenge for December is to read a book about music, bands, or musicians.

Tis the season to read a new holiday book! New titles added to the Holiday Book Tree include “Christmas at the Shelter Inn” by RaeAnne Thayne, “The Secret Ingredient” by Nancy Naigle, “The Wishing Bridge” by Viola Shipman and “Jack Frost” by Debbie Macomber. Stop by and pick out a feel-good Christmas book.

Three new murder mysteries include “Murder by Degrees” by Ritu Mukerji, “No Reserve” by Felix Francis, and “Mother Daughter Murder Night” by Nina Simon.

Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman, has written a new cookbook. “Dinner’s Ready!” which includes 112 fast and fabulous recipes for slightly impatient home cooks.

If you a looking for a historical fiction book don’t miss “The Air Raid Book Club” by Annie Lyons or “A Traitor in Whitehall” by Julia Kelly.

A great gift for a little one in your life is to register them for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Children ages 0-5 are eligible to receive a free book in the mail each month. You may sign up online on our website at harlempubliclibrary.org or at http://www.imaginationlibrary.com. You may also complete a paper registration available at the library.
