High-Fidelity Mobile Simulation Lab to Educate ANIIIKODA COLLEGE Medical Students

Fort Belknap, Montana - January 17, 2024 - On January 24th, 2024, a team of simulation specialists, with the High Fidelity Mobile Simulation Lab, will be visiting ANIIIKODA COLLEGE in Fort Belknap, Montana, to provide invaluable educational training to medical students. This initiative aims to enhance future healthcare providers' skills and knowledge while minimizing the risk of patient injury.

The team of highly trained educators will be conducting a series of multiple trauma scenarios, utilizing state-of-the-art high-fidelity mannequins as a pivotal part of the training process. This immersive experience will empower medical students to learn and practice critical procedures, allowing them to hone their skills and build confidence for their future roles in healthcare.

The use of high-fidelity mannequins provides students with a safe and controlled environment to practice medical procedures, diagnose conditions, and make crucial decisions in real-time scenarios. It allows for hands-on learning without the inherent risks associated with live patient care. Following each scenario, there will be structured debriefing sessions, providing students with the opportunity to reflect on their performance and receive constructive feedback from experienced professionals.

We are thrilled to announce that the Simulation Specialist team leading this educational event will include DJ Olson (dj@simmt.org - 406-390-0461) and Katie Gorman (katie@simmt.org - 406-946-2737). They bring a wealth of expertise and experience to ensure that this training will be informative and transformative for the participating students.
