We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!

There is always something to be thankful for, despite the sometimes cantankerous weather. The trees are absolutely gorgeous! The fog should bring much more needed moisture, as I have calendared that in the past & found it to be true.

We will be hosting a “Paint by Number” class on Tues., Feb 6th @ 1:00. If you would like to join us, please call us @ 406-357-2648! We likely will schedule another one, in the very near future. It helps to know how many to plan for, so please do call us.

We will also be having an Acrylic paint on canvas class coming soon. Again, if you would like to join us, please call.

We will once again, schedule a card party. Please call & let us know what kind of cards you would like to play & please remember, if you don’t know how, we are very happy to teach you. Several of us played Pinochle at the last one, but a few of us played a card game called Play Nine, which was new to us, but also, very fun. Is anyone interested in playing Dominos?

We are still playing Cornhole, and would certainly love more players. We are still hosting Paint with Jack classes. We are still playing Cribbage. We are still keeping the Coffee HOT, the Ice Tea COLD, the conversations light & the cookies fresh! GET IN HERE!

We are open to suggestions regarding what type of games you would like to play, because we are all about fun! Please call!

Wed., Feb. 7th @ 5:30 p.m. will be our 4th in a series of Speakers that we are partnering with the Blaine County Museum & Director, Sam French on. Rod Benson, Montana Science educator, will be sharing his “Reader’s Digest” version of Blaine County area geology. Currently in his 42nd and final year of teaching, Rod has learned as much as he can about the geology of north-central Montana, and has hiked many miles, exploring and photographing the area’s beautiful landscape. I will once again, be serving Charcuterie style refreshments. Please come and join us.

Wed., Feb. 14th Valentine Party @1:00! We will have lots of games & goodies! GET IN HERE!
