Island Mountain Development Group Announces the Appointment of Six New Board Members

Island Mountain Development Group (IMDG) announce the appointment of six new members to the board of directors. The new board of directors includes William "Billy" Bell (President), Gerald Martin (Vice President), Kathleen Adams (Secretary), Fawn Williamson (Board Member), Alan "Al" Bigby (Board Member), and Frank Doney (Board Member).

"It is a great honor and privilege to collaborate with the new IMDG Board of Directors. I am excited to work together as we collectively guide economic growth throughout the Fort Belknap Indian community" said Evan Azure, Chief Executive Officer for Island Mountain Development Group.

"I believe in the overall goal of IMDG, which is to promote economic growth in the Fort Belknap Indian Community. Through economic development, our community can practice true tribal sovereignty," said Alan Bigby.

IMDG's Board of Directors brings business experience and knowledge that helps IMDG create jobs and a self-sustaining economy on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation.

Alan Bigby, an enrolled member of the Nakoda Tribe, is a United States Army Veteran. Al earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management through the University of Phoenix, Arizona.

William Bell is an enrolled member of the Nakoda Tribe. William holds an Associate's degree in Natural Resources from Aaniiih Nakoda College, a Bachelor's degree in Water Quality: Environmental Health from MSU-Northern, and a Master's degree in Integrated Resource Management from Colorado State University. William also serves as a member of the Agriculture Committee with IMDG.

Frank J. Doney is an enrolled member of the Aaniiih Tribe. Frank is an Iraqi War Veteran who served in the Army National Guard. Frank holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Montana State University-Northern and a Master's degree in Project Management in Engineering from Colorado Technical University.

Fawn Williamson is an enrolled member of the Nakoda Tribe; Fawn is also a proud descendant of the Blackfeet Nation. Fawn serves as the Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority & Chairwoman of the Fort Belknap Gaming Commission. Previously, she served as the Associate Judge for the Fort Belknap Indian Community Tribal Court.

Gerald Martin is an enrolled member of the Aaniiih Tribe. Gerald is a proud Veteran of the United States Army. Gerald has 37 years of experience working at the Zortman Mine as an Industrial Electrician.

Kathleen Adams is an enrolled member of the Aaniiih Tribe. Kathleen holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and has been a Public Health Nurse for 19 years. Kathleen has served 14 years on the school board for Harlem Public Schools. She also served four years on the Board of Directors for Nakoda Aaniiih Credit Agency (NACA).
