We've Got The County Covered
Anyone who missed the April 12 opening weekend of the Montana Actors’ Theatre (MAT) production Outside Mullingar by John Patrick Shanley and presented by Tilleman Motor Company, there is still time to catch this opportunity for spring entertainment. The next performance will be April 18-20 at 8:00 p.m. in the MSUN/MAT Theatre on the campus of Montana State University–Northern in Havre. Additional showings will occur from April 25-27.
Set in the Irish countryside in a rural town called Mullingar, the story revolves around the lives of two neighboring families, the Reillys and the Muldoons. The main characters, Anthony and Rosemary are two introverted individuals bound by family ties and secrets who attempt to navigate the bumpy road to love. Described by MAT personnel as a show with “humor, tenderness, and a dash of Irish whimsy,” this play explores the complexities of human connection and the beauty of finding love in unexpected places.
Stars of the show include Samantha Pollington as Rosemary Muldoon, Anthony Reilly played by Grant Olson, Michael Stevenson as Tony Reilly, and Aoife Muldoon reenacted by Chinook resident Anjanett Hawk.
MAT’s Marketing and Development Director, Andi Daniel invites area residents to “join us for an unforgettable theatrical experience as we present Outside Mullingar, a captivating play that will sweep you off your feet and transport you to the lush, rolling hills of Ireland.”
Tickets for Outside Mullingar are available not only online at mtactors.com but also locally at Havre Chamber of Commerce, The Computer Center, & Company Apparel, as well as Bear Paw Meats.
