Emerson Paul Stiffarm Jr. left to be with the Creator and reunite with his wife Moni Dillon, his daughters Danelle and Liani; his parents Emerson Paul Stiffarm Sr. and Eileen (Snoopy) Flying Stiffarm; his grandparents Irvin and Dora Flying Stiffarm, Paul and Mae Shortman Stiffarm; uncles Philip "Knobby" Stiffarm, Dudley Stiffarm; and Sister Laurie Stiffarm on April 22, 2024 at his home in Great Falls, MT.
Emer was born on November 3, 1966 at the Fort Belknap Hospital, attended school at St. Paul's Mission, Hays School, and graduated from Chemawa Indian Boarding School in Oregon. He also attended training school in Great Falls, Montana for auto-body works.
He enjoyed working on vehicles and completed his work with pride and made sure each vehicle he worked on left the shop with him feeling proud of a job well done.
Emer also worked at Red Whip where he could enjoy playing basketball. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball, and being outdoors. He also had a partner who kept him busy, Tipsy his beloved dog.
Emer would make sure he kept in contact with his sister and buddy Lee Gray. Both loved their gambling and visiting trying to tell each other crazy stories.
Emerson is survived by his sisters Sheila (Leo) Allen, Jackie, Adeline; brothers Gary, Lyle (Francine) and Tyrone; uncles Ronald "Fudd" Stiffarm and Duane "Sunny Boy" Flying; aunts Roberta Big Knife, Margaret Flying, Kathryn Johnson, Helen (Will) Morey, Gloria (Ron) Perry, Cecelia (Ron) Youngbear, Mavis Youngbear Stiffarm.
