Summer Food Program

Chinook Schools will be participating in the summer food program this summer 2024. We will start serving meals on Monday June 3rd and serve Monday through Friday, through August 2nd. We will be providing a grab and go sack with a lunch and a breakfast in it. Meals can be picked up by the child or their parents or guardian. Any child the age of 18 or under can come a get a meal. They will be given out on the front steps of the Meadowlark School from 11:30 to 12:30 each day. You do not need to go to Chinook Schools to get a meal. If you’re in town, are a grandparent who has grandchildren visiting, or cousins are here, they can come get a meal as long as they are in Chinook at the time we are serving. There will be a signup sheet on the Chinook Meadowlark Elementary facebook page that will tell you what the meal is for each day and you can sign up a week at a time. Signing up is not required, it just helps us have a rough estimate of meals to prepare. You are welcome to just stop and get a meal if you are in town.
