We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center

We had the most delightful presentation from Bob Quinn, sharing his trip to Antarctica, including lots of wonderful photos and a tremendous amount of information. We are so fortunate to have people who come from far & wide to share different cultures and experiences with us. He also enjoyed a visit with Virginia Olson (they go back a very long way). We will be having Toni Collins here from the Blaine County Health Department, Friday, May 31st conducting a “Community Health” survey at 11:15. I am certain that this will be interesting. Friday, May 31st is also our PINOCHLE CARD PARTY @ 2:00. Please call and sign up for this. Also, Friday, May 31st is our monthly Birthday party as well, which gives us the opportunity to celebrate with more people within our community who have birthdays in the month of May. 357-2648 is the number to call to get signed up for any or all activities.

June is coming and with it comes nicer, more stable weather. This also means more outdoor activities. I am told that Ticks are out in abundance, so do make a thorough check after being outdoors.

There is a conflict with the Slapjack Saturday being in June, so that has been changed to July 13th, with both Teddy Powell & Doug Mitchell cooking.
