CHS donates $5,000 to the Blaine County Fair Foundation

Through the CHS Seeds for Stewardship program, the Blaine County Fair Foundation received $5,000 to update and renovate the bleachers at the Blaine County Fairgrounds.

"With the help of the CHS Seeds for Stewardship grant funds, we will provide new and additional bleacher seating at the Blaine County Fairgrounds," says Jon Harmon, board member, Blaine County Fair Foundation. "Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable seating area for community members to watch events at the fairgrounds. We are looking forward to attracting more residents to rodeos and other activities once we make this upgrade."

The CHS Seeds for Stewardship program supports organizations and projects that are focused on safety, ag education, and strengthening and uplifting hometown communities. The funds like those being donated by CHS Big Sky are part of the CHS commitment to empower a safer, stronger rural America through financial support that goes directly back into communities where CHS farmer- and rancher-owners and employees work, live and do business.

"CHS is proud to offer our support to the Blaine County Fair Foundation," says Russell Alisch, director of operations, CHS Big Sky. "It is imperative to give back to our local communities. Through this donation, the Blaine County Fairgrounds will receive a much-needed upgrade to newer and safer bleachers at the fairgrounds."
