We've Got The County Covered

Chinook Senior Center

Hello From the Chinook Senior Center

Trusting that you all had a Memorial Day weekend that puts into your hearts what you, as individuals desire. We all have so very many family members and friends that have given the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we all enjoy in our beautiful country! For me, it is a poignant time of reflection. May God Bless America, indeed! If we all stop to think about what we have been given, we will be eternally grateful. I cannot imagine living in a country where we do not have the freedoms that we enjoy.

June is rapidly approaching with all of the wonderful colors, scents and songs that we look forward to each long Montana winter. Peonies, Petunias, Geraniums and all while the birds are singing their sweet songs. If you have not been into our wonderful Center in the past two weeks, you are overdue. We have some wonderful, colorful additions to our east patio that truly you need to enjoy on a perfect day. I called my friend, Bonnie Weber and asked for her to plant some vibrant colors in the planters that I purchased to go with the colorful benches (which are begging for someone to sit and enjoy) and she really delivered! Thank you, Bonnie. Great job!

We have also heard stories of many TICKS and RATTLESNAKES out in force, so…while you are enjoying all that Montana has to offer, be very careful.

I have visited with Donny Greytak twice in the past week and he has let me know that he will, indeed come into our Center, likely June 12th @ 2:00 to share his love of art and his unparalleled talents for drawing. He will also be bringing some of his backstock of calendars. I quite like this man and am looking very forward to his visit!
