We've Got The County Covered
The Blaine County Fair Foundation is pleased to announce it has been awarded $3,000 through AgWest Farm Credit's Rural Community Grant program to be used towards the bleacher replacement project. The Blaine County Fair Foundation was founded in 2016 to continue the legacy of agriculture, recreation, education, & community gathering by providing funding for the Blaine County Fair & Fairgrounds upkeep. The Blaine County Fair Foundation is a nonprofit 501c3 organization that raises funds through grants, fundraisers, and tax-deductible sponsorships & donations
The funds granted to the Blaine County Fair Foundation will impact the local community by helping fund the bleacher replacement project. This project will replace 75 feet of bleachers on the west side of the Grand Stand area. The new elevated aluminum bleachers will be 10 rows & allow for better viewing of grandstand events. They will also pour cement in this area to help keep it cleaner. This project will be completed prior to the 2024 Blaine County Fair.
"We want to thank AgWest Farm Credit for their support & encouragement in this project. We are thankful that they value the importance of keeping these rural communities flourishing," said Blaine County Fair Foundation member, Shandel Fouts.
