“Adventure Begins at Your Library!” The Summer Reading program for all ages is in full swing. Children may still sign up to participate and earn gift certificates from Paradise Shave Ice, The Corner Hub, Milk River Pharmacy and EZ Mart for each 30 minutes read per week. Their names will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize for each certificate earned, each additional 30 minutes read per week, and each weekly program attended.

Weekly programs include Summer STEAM for elementary students on Mondays at 1 P.M., Storytime for children ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers on Tuesdays at 10 A.M.; and Lego Club for all ages on Thursdays at 4 P.M.

Teens and adults can participate in Summer Reading by notifying the library for each book completed and their names will be entered to win a $50 gift card.

The Book Challenge for June is to read an adventure book.

The library board of trustees will hold their monthly meeting Wednesdays, June 26 at 4:30 P.M.

Stop by the library and relax during these warm summer days. We have a puzzle table, magazines and newspapers, a children’s play space, and comfy seating.

New books this week include suspense thrillers “It Had to Be You” by Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke, “Wild Side” by Fern Michaels, and “Lost Birds” by Anne Hillerman.

Bestselling author Harlan Coban’s new novel is “Think Twice.” Sports agent Myron Bolitar gave a eulogy at the funeral of his client, renowned basketball coach Greg Downing, three years ago. Now two federal agents are in his office demanding to know where Greg Downing is. According to the agents, Downing has been placed at the scene of a double homicide, making him their main suspect.
