We've Got The County Covered
The July meeting of Big Flat 4-H Club was held on July 14, 2024 at 6:00PM at the Turner Christian Church. Members present include: Modesty Chamberlain, Alaina Egbert, Avery and Piper Fox, Hannah and Isaac Klindworth, Hannah Richman, Jessa Schroder, Mary Simons, Hannah & Isabella Van Voast. Leaders present were Hilary Richman and Shannon Van Voast. Visitors at the meeting were Trent and Alicia Noel.
The American pledge was led by Hannah Klindworth and the 4-H pledge was led by Piper Fox.
Correspondence:
Shannon read the grant award letter from Montana Farmers Union that had the $100 check. She also read the letter from Northern Montana Hospital that had the $200 check.

Avery reported on the movie night from June 14. .

August 2 is barn cleanup. We are doing the chuckwagon training at 2:00 that day. Families will clean the horse barn after the training. The swim party is that night.
Trent talked about the fair packet that every family got. Shannon had everyone sign up for their chuckwagon shift.
July 19 buyers promotion pictures and writeup need to be sent to the extension office.
July 26 is the deadline for fair entry on ZSuite. Interview signup is done by calling the office.
After the meeting Isaac Klindworth gave an illustrated talk on “Helicopter Basics.” Hannah Klindworth gave an illustrated talk on “Parts of a bird.”
After the meeting we had an ice cream sundae bar. Trent worked with everyone to see the progress they had made on their record books and gave advice on what to fix.
Our next meeting is September 15, 2024 at 4:00.
