Stephen Earl Vaile

Stephen Earl Vaile, 77, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 with his wife Randina by his side. Services were held on Monday, July 22, at 11:00 AM at Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Stephen was born on October 20, 1946 in Browning, MT. He resided in Browning with his grandparents for much of his early life, before moving to Joplin where he graduated from High School. He then joined the Airforce, leaving right after graduation. After the military, he worked selling cars in California, owned a vehicle leasing company in Colorado, and worked for IBM in Atlanta, GA. He retired from IBM as a project manager. Stephen was also a VFW chaplain in Red Lodge and had 52 years of sobriety with AA.

In 2010, Stephen married Randina Pederson Lenhardt. Stephen always said he was so grateful to gain family when he and Randi were married. The two were very adventurous and loved to travel. They had been to a large portion of the US. Many happy memories were made! Stephen also enjoyed riding his Valkyrie motorcycle on mountain roads.

Stephen is survived by Brian and Rene Lenhardt; Chelsea Chenoa and Clifford; Nancy and Jeremy Kinyon; Zach and Ty; and great grandchildren Luke, Elle, Kylo, Coraleigh, and Violet.
