We've Got The County Covered

45 Donors at Local Chinook Blood Drive

The Chinook community hosted the Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday, July 23rd. We had 45 donors presenting. Great job everyone.

We had 2 first time donors: Tayla Richman and Debbie Munari. We hope this was the first of many donations for both of you.

The canteen was hosted by the Presybyterian & Zion Lutheran Ladies. The hard work and time that goes into all the homemade sandwiches, snacks and sweet treats is always appreciated and enjoyed by all.

To all those volunteering their time and energy to help get and keep the drive running smoothly, please know that your efforts are greatly appreciated: Wallner Hall for providing the site for the drive. Judy Johnson, Roxanne Townsend, and Linda Thompson for greeting and registering all the donors on the day of the drive. Ryder Hofeldt and Lane Ward helped with setup and takedown. These boys always step up to help wherever they can, and we appreciate all of their hard work!

Taking home door prices were: Betty Billmayer, Royce Houtzel, Sarah Gillett, Tayla Richman, Khayla Farmer, Cheyenne Weigand, Cameron Huestis, Belle Elliot, and Brooke Pruttis.

To each and every one of you, your willingness to donate and to participate in one way or another is greatly appreciated. It couldn’t be done without you.

The next blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the Commercial Building. It is now open for scheduling. If you are already scheduled, that is wonderful. Otherwise, to schedule an appointment you can go to 1(800)REDCROSS, http://www.redcrossblood.org or log in to your account.
