New arrivals ready for check out include several new thrillers. Bestselling author Ruth Ware’s latest book is “One Perfect Couple.” “This high-tension thriller follows five couples trapped on a storm-swept island as a killer stalks among them.”

“She Saw Him” is the new psychological thriller from Kate White. Kiki Reed is left reeling when her former fiancé, Jamie, appears to take his own life. But Kiki is desperate to prove it was actually murder and uncovers something far more sinister than she imagined.

Riley Sager has written “Middle of the Night.” When Ethan was ten years old, he and his best friend, Billy, had an overnight camp out in Ethan’s back yard. During the night someone sliced the tent open and took Billy. He was never seen again. Thirty years later, Ethan has moved back to his childhood neighborhood. He begins to notice strange things happening and signs of Billy’s presence keep appearing.

A new Montana nonfiction selection is “Stolen Voices: Missing and Murdered in Big Horn County” by Bonnie Bley. This work recounts the stories of several young Native American Indians who have gone missing or been brutally murdered in Big Horn County. It sheds light on first-hand perspectives from family and tribal members.

“Night Watch” is by Jayne Anne Phillips. In 1874 in the wake of the Civil War, twelve-year-old ConaLee, the adult in her family, finds herself on a journey with her mother, Eliza, who hasn’t spoken in over a year. ConaLee’s father left for the war and never returned. Left at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia, they try to reclaim their lives.

The Book Challenge for August is to read a book with a person’s name in the title. When you complete the challenge notify the library and your name will be entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.

All programming is taking a break in August, but watch for information about dates and times in September when programs will resume.
