Patty Hall Holmes

Patty Hall Holmes, 65 lost her battle to an unknown illness July 30th, 2024, at NMCC in Havre.

Her Celebration of Life was held August 9, 2024, at 1st Lutheran Church in Havre, MT. The service were at 11am followed by a luncheon at the church.

Patty was born June 9th, 1959, in Havre, MT to Ira & Janet Hall. Patty was the second oldest of 4 daughters. Peggy, Patty, Robin & Shelly lived with her parents in Havre until Patty was 11 years old. The family then moved to the ranch northwest of Chinook, MT. Patty attended North Yantic Country School and then Chinook High School where she graduated in 1978.

After High School she was married and attended cosmetology college. After graduating from cosmetology college, she had her 2 children and the lights of her life. William Jorgensen was born in March 1981 and 16 months later her daughter Laine Jorgensen was born.

Patty then embarked on a new chapter of her life with her marriage into the Codden family, and the opening of her own Salon. Patty gained 2 stepdaughters (Cristy & Kim Codden) and many lifelong friends from this marriage. She opened The New You styling salon on 3rd Ave in Havre. Patty had great success with her salon and had a thriving business. She also had a love for interior design and remodeling homes. She built, remodeled and successfully sold several homes. She also became a grandmother and cherished every moment of that.

The next chapter of her life included selling The New You, opening A Cut Above hair salon and marring David Holmes. This chapter still included a successful salon in The Eagles Manor and finishing her last home. She spent as much time as she could with her grandson Riley and loved telling people about his adventures.

She is survived by her father Ira Hall, Son William Jorgensen, daughter Laine Jorgensen, Grandson Riley Jorgensen, husband David Holmes. Sisters Peggy (Ronald) Ray, Robin (Bill) Martin, Shelly Hall and many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Janet Hall.
