Congratulations to our Summer Reading Grand Prize Winners! In the age 0-Kindergarten category, the winner is Emma VanValkenburg. Feather Cutstherope is the winner in grades 1-8 and the winner in the teens and adults category is Rosie Main.

The Book Challenge for August is to read a book with a person's name in the title. Please let the library know when you complete the challenge so your name can be entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.

The library board of trustees will hold their monthly meeting Wednesday, August 28, 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.

The library will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.

Fall programming begins the first week of September. Children's programs include Storytime for ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers which will begin Tuesday, September 3 at 10 A.M. After School Squad, for elementary students, will focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math.) It will begin Wednesday, September 4 at 4:15 P.M. (note the change in time.) Lego Club will meet on Thursday, September 5 at 4:15 P.M. (note the change in time.) Lego Club is open to all ages but children who are not yet in school must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The Book Club, a book discussion group for adults, will begin Monday, September 9 at 4 P.M. The first book we will read this fall is "My Dear Hamilton: A Novel of Eliza Schuyler" by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. You may pick up your copy September 3-6 at the library.
