Oh, my! The weeks go by so quickly! Here we are in September. As we celebrate this Labor Day week, I hope that you took the time to rest. As I understand this, it is to offer a day of rest, for those of us who are still in the work force. Many people use this long holiday weekend to camp and fish, etc. Whatever you did, I hope that it was restful and that the weather was kind to you.
We have an upcoming series conducted by the Blaine County Health Department entitled “Stepping-On”, which will be here each Tuesday, from 10:30-11:30 beginning on Sept. 17th and will last through October 29th. All are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to exercise, within their individual limits. Please call and let us know that you will be joining. 357-2648
We are continuing our fun with Diamond Dotz art classes on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00. Depending on the piece that you wish to do, there is a minimal fee for each piece. Please let us know if you will be joining us for this fun opportunity to create something beautiful and to take home.
We will also be having another Paint on Canvas class on Wednesday, Sept. 18th from 1:30-3:30. AGAIN, we need to know ahead of time, how many will be joining us for this. PLEASE let us know a WEEK in advance, so that we have everything that we need for everyone who wishes to participate.
Pinochle Parties will be held Friday, September 6th & again on Friday, September 20th! These are held at 2:00 and once again, WE NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE if you will be joining us, please. Also, each participant will be asked to BRING ONE DOLLAR, which will comprise the prizes for High, Low, and 300 Pinochles.
ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST, WE WILL BE HAVING AN INDIAN TACO FEED (FREE WILL DONATION) AS A FUNDRAISER FOR OUR CENTER AND WE WILL ALSO HAVE THE MUSIC OF GENE ALLEN, FOR THIS DAY, FROM 11:00-2:00 ONLY! PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS & JOIN US.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH IS THE SUGARBEET FESTIVAL AND WE ARE PLANNING ONCE AGAIN, TO HAVE A FLOAT!
We still have Cornhole, Cribbage, Bingo, Music, cookies and many other fun activities to join us for and we would love to have you!
