Chinook & Harlem Cross Country Travel to Cut Bank - Ford Finishes 1st

Both Chinook and Harlem Cross Country were in Cut Bank on Friday where they competed in the Mike Reynolds Time Trials.

CHINOOK

On the girls' side, sophomore Ashlyn Ford ran her way to a first place finish. Ford finished the course in a time of 19:50.43. Ford's time also helped her punch her ticket to the State Meet in Missoula on October 26. Also punching their ticket to state for the girls are junior Neva Lowe, senior Alexus Seymour and junior Kirbey Hofeldt.

Ashlyn Ford - 19:50.43(1st)

Neva Lowe - 21:47.20 (4th)

Alexus Seymour - 22:56:59 (11th)

Kirbey Hofelt - 27:33.07 (42nd)

The boys had two qualify for State for Chinook. Freshman Jefferson Nordboe and Sophomore Gus Buck. Eighth Grader, Beau Elias also competed for Chinook on Friday as the first Junior High Cross Country Runner. Junior High Distance is 1.5K instead of High School's 5K.

Beau Elias - 14:14.75 (54th)

HARLEM

On the Boys' side, freshman Ethan Walker had another great performance, earning a 3rd place finish with a time of 17:09.28. The boys as a team also finished in 3rd place.

The Lady Cat's Cross Country runners earned a fourth place finish as a team. Tearia Sunchild also punched her ticket to State, bringing the Girls' State qualifying number to four.
