We had a wonderful day last Saturday, and served a large number of people for our Indian Taco Feed, which was one of our fundraisers, to benefit our Center. The rising cost of nearly everything seems to be constantly ahead of us.

Wow! Here we are in October! The changing of the leaves (which will hopefully last for more than a week). We have several fun things coming up in October.

FOOT CLINIC is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7th! If you need an appointment, please call us soon! 357-2648

WE HAVE A PIE SOCIAL, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19TH FROM 1:00-3:00, with all proceeds going to our very own Chinook Senior Center! Please mark your calendar!

WE HAVE 1ST BANK OF MONTANA, CHINOOK COMING ON TUES., OCT. 22ND @ 1:00 For more very valuable information regarding keeping us all safe in a world filled with people who seem to live only to take what is ours. Mark your calendars for this one as well!

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23RD, WE HAVE ELAINE MORSE, HERE AT 5:30 SHARING LOCAL HOMESTEAD HISTORY! This is certain to be a good one. As always, we will be serving some light bites.

We will once again, invite the school age kiddos over for Halloween, to trick or treat, likely at about 3:30, so keep that in mind, as well.

We are still enjoying Diamond Dotz., Paint on Canvas, Cribbage, Cornhole, Pinochle and NOW, HAND AND FOOT, so….if you are inclined to have fun, this is the place! GET IN HERE!

We are still choosing a senior, each week to celebrate and we have a long list of people whom we appreciate, so stay tuned…

Wed., Oct. 2nd: Baked Potato Bar (always a favorite, because we do it right)

Mon., Oct. 7th: Taco Soup

Tues., Oct., 8th: Cod
