We've Got The County Covered

Cory Ray Belcher

Cory Ray Belcher, 60, of Chinook, was born May 5th, 1964 in Havre, Montana passed away at his home in September of 2024.

Cory was an incredibly talented motor-head. He drove a little of everything, but really loved his old Fords. Cory at a very young age would take apart whatever he could. His curiosity continued throughout his life. He attended Cleveland school and graduated from Chinook High School in 1982. He received his Bachelor Degree in Diesel Mechanics and an Associates Degree in Plumbing at Northern Montana College. Cory was a perfectionist on vehicles he worked on, except his own. When Cory decided to do something, he did it, including climbing a fence with a full leg cast when he was about two years old. Cory loved to build derby cars and of course partake in them. He traveled all around Montana during college and won several derby's, which helped pay for the majority of his tuition and living expenses. Cory loved children, animals, his family and friends.

He is survived by mother, Darla Plouffe, siblings, Kelly (Dee) Belcher, Forrest (Tammy) Belcher and Kary Belcher (Danny), Blaze (Dawn) Tadday, Ray (Angela) Belcher, Sabrina (John) Hovet, step-brother Todd (Mona) Woronik, the children from his bonus dad, Douglas Plouffe, Darrell Plouffe and Gwen (Mark) Carter, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, father, Ray Belcher October 2,1998, bonus father Douglas Plouffe July 10, 2024, and step-sister, Ronda Plouffe August 31, 2024.

Cory was loved and will be truly missed by all that knew him.
