Chinook Volleyball wins in 3 against Malta; 4-0 at Fort Benton Midseason Tournament

The Chinook Sugarbeeters were in Malta on Thursday night to take on the M-Ettes. The Sugarbeeters dominated and earned a 3-0 victory, sweeping the M-Ettes, 26-24, 25-22, 25-23. Leading the way in Kills was senior Rilee Molyneaux with 8 of the teams 26. Senior Addison Olsen led the way for the Beeters in both Aces and Assists. Olsen had 3 of the teams 11 aces, and 11 of the teams 25 assists. Junior Brooke Fetter kept balls alive in the back row leading the team with 19 of the teams 75 digs. Seniors Hannah Schoen and Gracie Skoyen each had a block in the Beeter victory.

On Saturday the Beeters traveled to Fort Benton to take part in the annual Fort Benton Midseason Tournament. The Beeters went 4-0 on the day earning wins against White Sulpher Springs (21-17, 21-13), Roy (21-18, 16-9), Fort Benton (21-14, 15-17) and Cascade (21-13, 21-11).

Leading the way in Kills was senior Rilee Molyneaux with 24 of the teams 80. Senior Addison Olsen led the way for the Beeters in both Aces and Assists. Olsen had 6 of the teams 19 aces, and 38 of the teams 78 assists. Junior Brooke Fetter continued to keep balls alive in the back row leading the team with 39 of the teams 110 digs. Sophomore Amyerah Kelly controlled the net for the Beeters having a hand in all six of the Beeter blocks.
