Harlem Library
Tonight, Oct. 16, is the Friends of the Library annual membership meeting. A free soup supper will be served at 6 P.M. followed by the business meeting. New members are needed so come support your library. Annual dues are ten dollars. There will be no After School Squad today, Oct. 16 or Lego Club Oct. 17. The Book Challenge for October is to read a book with antonyms in the title. During the month of October “Buy a Bag O’Books!” Fill a grocery sack with used books for only one dollar. As part of the library’s celebration of National Native American Heritage Month we will be displaying star quilts during November. If you have one or more you would be willing to loan us please bring them to the library the last week of October, marked with your name.

Teen Scene Mondays 5:30-6:30. Story Time Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., Kids’ Zone Tuesdays 3:45-4:45. Wednesday Home School Hour 1:00-2:00. Thursdays LEGO Club 3:45-4:45, Theater Day Fridays 1:00-2:30.
Harlem Food Bank
The Harlem Food Bank is starting their Annual Drive for funds for the coming year. We will begin on 1 September 2024 and go until 20 November 2024. Town Pump has offered us $2500.00 if we can match that amount. We have been able to match their offer in the past and hope to again this year. Any and all help is appreciated.
Bear Paw Cooperative
The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-21 years if they qualify. Cemetery Board
The cemetery will have a meeting on October 18, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in the courthouse ECC meeting room.
