Hays-Lodgepole bring the thunder to the Bears

This week the Hays-Lodgepole Thunderbirds only had one game this week and traveled to Box Elder to face off against the Lady Bears’ Volleyball team.

The Thunderbirds were electrifying in their game against the Bears. With a match of leading 2-1, it was a travel well worth it. In set number one, the Bears brought all their might against the Thunderbirds. The Hays team did not back down as they kept the Bears at bay, until the Bears pulled away ending the set with a score of 25-17. In set number two ending with 25-16, the Thunderbirds secured their victory with the Bears giving them a good run. In their final set, number three, the Thunderbirds and Bears kept toe-to-toe. Ultimately, the Thunderbirds soared to the top, leaving the set with a score of 25-19.

The Hays-Lodgepole Thunderbirds next varsity volleyball game is scheduled to be Saturday, October 19, at 1 PM in Hays.
