Chinook Cross Country ended the regular season on a very high note with Personal Records set by almost all runners at the Harlem Wildcat Invitational.
Ashlyn Ford was the first to cross the finish line with a Personal Record of 18:28, over a minute ahead of the next finisher. Due to MHSA eligibility rules, Ashlyn was only able to compete as a JV runner this season but is ranked 1st and fastest Class B female in the state, and 4th fastest female across all classes in Montana. She will not be competing at the State Cross Country meet in Missoula on October 26th, but will be there supporting her team.

The Chinook Boys XC team continues to get faster with every runner setting a Personal Record at the Invitational. The team placed 7th Overall in the boys competition.

In the Middle School Races, 8th grader Beau Elias, Chinook's only Middle School runner placed 17th finishing in 12:21.
The Chinook Cross Country team is looking forward to competing at State in Missoula on Saturday, October 26th. Class B Girls race at 11am and Class B Boys race at 12pm at the UofM Golf Course.
