Michael George Lonewolf

Michael George Lonewolf passed away October 3, 2024 in Havre, MT. A funeral service was held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Belknap, MT.

Michael was born July 12, 1971 to Lois Speakthunder and Leon Red Heil in Fort Belknap. He grew up and spent most of his time in Fort Belknap, MT and lived briefly in Bismark, ND. He attended Chemawa Indian School and Standing Rock Community High School. He then obtained his GED and CDL and worked briefly at the Bakken Oil Fields as a truck driver. In his free time, Michael enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Later in his life, his health declined as a result of him struggling with addiction.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Leon Red Heil; sister Chantel L. Martinez; grandparents Richard and Lillian Martinez, George and Evelyn Speakthunder.

Michael is survived by his son Lance Corporal Seth A. Has The Eagle (who recently returned from his deployment in the Indo-Pacific region); daughters Chelsey R. Martinez, and Brittany Martinez; the mother of his children Brenda Has The Eagle; mother Lois Speakthunder; brother Leon D. Martinez (Belle Fourche, SD); sisters Bethany H. Lawrence, and Constance Martinez of Harlem, MT; grandchildren L'Kessa, Zayden, Braelee, Z'Raya, and J'Loni; aunts Verna Speakthunder, Leta Cole, Wilma Speakthunder; uncles Ronald Speakthunder, Leon Speakthunder, and D-Matt Speakthunder; his Martinez family, Speakthunder family, and First Raised Family; numerous nieces and nephews; and more family members in Texas, Oregon, and North Dakota.
