The Book Challenge for November is to read a book set in Montana. If you have completed October’s Book Challenge be sure to notify the library to have your name entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.
November is National Native American Heritage Month. In celebration the library is hosting a display of star quilts on loan from community members. You may still bring your quilt or quilts marked with your name to the library to add to the display. The library will host a Native American cultural evening November 13, 6 P.M. with speakers, presentations and refreshments. Please join us.
The library will be closed November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
The new Book Club book “Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead may be picked up until November 15. The first discussion will be held November 18, 4 P.M.
Mark your calendars for the annual Friends of the Library Wine and Cheese fundraiser which will be December 4, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. This year’s theme will be “Karolee’s Kandy Kane Kristmas” in memory of Karolee Cronk, long-time Friends of the Library Events Chairperson and dedicated library supporter. Tickets are on sale at the library for ten dollars.
The Friends of the Library are currently holding their annual membership drive. New members are needed! Annual dues are only ten dollars and may be paid at the library.
