The Chinook girls were busy this weekend playing in four matches total and qualifying for the Divisional tournament, securing 3rd place at the District Tournament. The Chinook girls swept the court in their first two matches and got swept away in their final two. The 'Beeter girls had an outstanding performance in the tournament. Brook Fetter and Sami Malsam led the team in digs. Addison Olsen had a lock on the assists, averaging about 23 assists per game. Rilee Molyneaux and Amyerah Kelly kept the kills coming.
The 'Beeter girls took on the Cut Bank Wolves in their first match of the District Tournament. Ending the match with a 3-0 win. As they rolled on to face the Choteau Bulldogs, they took the victory in a 3-1 face off. Facing Fairfield, the 'Beeter girls fell to the Fairfield Eagles 3-1. The Chinook Sugarbeeters in their final match of the District Tournament took on the Shelby Coyotes and lost 3-1. The 'Beeters will head to the Divisional Tournament in Shelby starting Thursday, November 7, at 11:45 AM. They will play the number two team out of the 2B District, Malta.
