This month the library is celebrating National Native American Heritage Month. Tonight, November 13, at 6 P.M. join us for an evening featuring speakers John Stiffarm, who will share about Native American Storytelling, and Renita Longknife, who will talk on Traditional Plants. Refreshments will be served. Also stop by the library to see the star quilts that are on display this month. Everyone is welcome!

Book Club members are encouraged to pick up their copy of the new book “Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead. The first discussion will be Monday, November 18, 4 P.M.

The Book Challenge for November is to read a book set in Montana. We have a great selection of titles on display.

Don’t forget the weekly programs we have available to involve your family in the library. Storytime, for little ones ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers is held on Tuesdays at 10 A.M.

Grade school students are invited to After School Squad on Wednesdays at 4 P.M. Lego Club for all ages is held on Thursdays at 4 P.M. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.

We also have a great play area with puzzles, wooden blocks, magnetic tiles, puppets and more!

The Friends of the Library Annual Wine & Cheese Fundraiser is set for Wednesday, December 4, 6-8 P.M. The theme this year is “Karolee’s Kandy Kane Kristmas” in memory of Karolee Cronk. Tickets are now on sale for ten dollars at the library for adults 21 years of age and older. Donations of silent and live auction items, food items and wine are being accepted. A new nonfiction selection is “Revenge of the Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell. Twenty-five years after his first book, Gladwell returns to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, offering a guide to making sense of the contagions of the modern world.
