We've Got The County Covered
Hello From the
Chinook Senior Center
By the time you read this column, we will have celebrated Stan Wall’s 88th birthday as well as having had a dozen or so Pickers here for wonderful music and a great day of celebrating one of the oldest and best Pickers that we know! I hope that you joined us.
On Wed., Nov. 13th @ 5:30, we will once again be partnering with Sam French, Blaine County Museum Director, for the 2nd in our Speaker Series with Micah Chang presenting Agriculture in WWl & WWll. This will be another interesting presentation. We will once again be serving charcuterie style refreshments. Please come and join us. We are thrilled to have these wonderful series in our small community and we know that Sam French works very hard to get them here.
Sunday, Nov. 17th from 11:00-2:00, will be the American Lutheran Church’s Soup Lunch (Free Will Donation), with lots of goodies for sale. Mark that one on your calendars as well. It is my understanding that the Wildlife Museum will be having their annual dinner & auction on Nov. 16th, as well.
We also would like to mention, at this time, that we will once again be having Vendors here, on Friday, November 29th as a part of the community Christmas Parade of Lights.
Before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here. We will be closed on Thanksgiving day as well as the day after. We hope that you are able to enjoy this special Holiday with friends and family and spend time together just being THANKFUL.
On Wed., Nov. 27th @ 5:30 here, we will have our last Speaker Series presentation, done by Sam French on Gilbert Horn Sr.., Montana’s Patriot Chief.
We understand that many people attended the 1st Annual Murder Mystery weekend, sponsored by the Chinook Chamber of Commerce. FUN WAS HAD BY ALL! Please remember that this is a MERCHANT BOOSTER for our community, so look for this again, next year & sign up!!
