We've Got The County Covered

Blaine County Library

Join us Thursday November 21st at 6:30 p.m. at the Blaine County Library for the next book club meeting. We will be discussing the book “Waltzing Montana” by Mary Clearman Blew. Refreshments will be served.

Native American Heritage Month is celebrated in November. Stop in and look at the display of books Elle put together and check a few out to celebrate Native American Heritage Month.

Elle also has a display of books to help you learn or refresh your knowledge about the United States Government. There are several new titles in this display.

The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday, November 25th at 4:30 p.m.

You’re in luck this week if you like suspense and thrillers. One impulsive decision changes the lives of two best friends forever in “Catch You Later” by Jessica Strawser. In “The Boyfriend” by Freida McFadden, Sidney Shaw’s new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He’s charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. But is he her dream boyfriend or her worst nightmare? “I’ll be Waiting” by Kelley Armstrong is a spellbinding tale of supernatural horror involving a haunted house, seances, lost loved ones, and a sinister spirit out for blood.

Teen Scene, for grades 7 through 12, is Mondays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There will be karaoke, Wii, board games and other activities. Story Time for preschool children is Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Kids’ Zone is on Tuesday for grades 3 through 6 from 3:45-4:45 p.m. There will be crafts, coloring and other activities available. Homeschool Hour is Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The purpose of this program is to provide a place where home school families gather and learn from each other. We have a sign-up sheet for families to host future programs. If we have a week with no host family, we won’t have a program that week. Thursdays is LEGO Club from 3:45-4:45. Fridays we will show a family-friendly movie from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Children under five may attend LEGO Club and movies, but they must be accompanied by an adult. We look forward to seeing everyone.
