On the afternoon of Sunday, September 22, 2024, the American Legion Post 48 and its auxiliary hosted a reception featuring the students that attended Girls State and Boys State, which took place in June of 2024.
Selected from the 2023-2024 junior class of CHS to attend were Hannah Schoen to Girls State; and Denton DePriest and Brockton Elliot to Boys State.
Each of them reported on their experience in attending Girls and Boys State and answered questions.
